Kristin Magnanini, NP

About Kristin

Kristin Magnanini has been caring for patients in the Hudson Valley for fifteen plus years. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing alongside a Bachelors of Arts in Hispanic Studies in 2010 from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. While gaining valuable bedside nursing experience in critical care and labor and delivery specialties, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing also at Mount Saint Mary College in 2016. She began her career in advanced practice as an Intensivist NP, and later found her true passion in Gynecologic Oncology in 2018. She has experience with surgical oncology care, managing chemotherapy and radiation therapy side effects, and in cancer surveillance and survivorship. She has special interests in tumor genomics and hereditary cancer genetics as well as menopause care with hormonal and non-hormonal therapies for the cancer survivor.

Kristin maintains a board certification in Family Medicine from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center and is an allied health member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. She strongly believes in the importance of staying up to date on emerging cancer research, regularly attends national and international oncology conferences, and has participated as a co-investigator on several clinical trials in her career. She also currently holds a faculty position as an Adjunct Professor for the SUNY Dutchess College of Nursing.

Outside of work, Kristin prioritizes spending time with her husband and three daughters, which often includes spectating a variety of youth sports. She loves to travel and to ski in different regions. She is an avid reader of all genres.
