About Richard
Dr. Richard Bryan completed studies in Molecular Biology at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ. After which he pursued his Master’s degree in Molecular Parasitology at New York University. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn with distinction in research. He completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as his Rheumatology Fellowship training at Yale, New Haven. Between completing residency and commencing fellowship training, Dr. Bryan was employed as an Attending Hospitalist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. His clinical interests include Systemic Lupus and the Vasculitis.
Dr. Bryan published multiple articles and is the recipient of several awards including MD with Distinction in Research from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, the Robert Watkins Fellowship in Microbiology at NYU and he is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He also maintains membership at the American College of Rheumatology and he has been involved in medical outreach in his native Jamaica, West Indies.
