He earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, one of the country’s most prestigious medical schools. Dr. Malik completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, where he honed his expertise in managing complex medical conditions across diverse patient populations. Dr. Malik further advanced his training with a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of hematologic disorders and cancers.

Dr. Malik joins The Medical Group at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall with leadership oversight of the Anemia Center, where he will focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with chronic anemia, blood disorders, and cancer. He is committed to delivering the latest evidence-based treatments, utilizing innovative therapies, and coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
